Have you read numerous books about developing a positive corporate culture at your company or workplace that left you feeling excited, but offered no practical solutions to improve (or even define) your company's current culture? I did. That's why I started the Cultural Alchemist Series. The Cultural Alchemist Series is focused on providing your business with measurable improvements in your company's culture that impact your bottom line. Utilizing clear, concise, actionable language to create standards and expectations, your organization will have a better understanding of the purpose of the Vision, Values and Mission Statements. As a result, you'll be able to articulate what your success looks like, create an actionable plan on how to get there that is flexible enough to adapt to and overcome unanticipated changes, and create the two-way accountability you'll need to accomplish the most difficult tasks facing your organization in record time (truly turning your business ideas into gold).
The Cultural Alchemist Series:
Summer 2025
Cultural Alchemy: Volume I - Turning Curiosity into gold.
It is said that necessity is the mother of invention, but what is a person to do if they don't know exactly what it is they need? Pure science can often be too rigorous and sterile for the down and dirty business of every day problem solving. When we don't have the answers, practicing critical thinking can help ensure we're asking the right questions to deliver solutions that add value.
Summer 2026
Cultural Alchemy: Volume II - Turning Inspiration into gold.
You've asked the right questions, now find the best solution. The world around us is filled with places to draw inspiration from. The good news? Someone has likely already solved your problem (or a very similar one) before. In Cultural Alchemy Volume II we'll investigate several sources to inspire you and methods you can utilize can help ensure that your processes are very close to the best practices from the start (and how to make sure they become so if they're not).
Fall 2027
Cultural Alchemy: Volume III - Turning Rituals into gold.
Doing something right is easily done once. Doing something right every time requires a culture of excellence. In Cultural Alchemy Volume III, we'll look at how your processes work with your tools to create consistent, repeatably excellent results. It doesn't matter if you have the best process for changing lightbulbs with hammers is, there are better tools for the job!
Winter 2028
Cultural Alchemy: Volume IV - Turning Creativity into gold.
Just because you are unique doesn't mean that you are useful. How you win matters. In Volume IV, we'll look at the decision-making framework your vision, values and mission statements create and how that informs the creative process to ensure synergy through authenticity from start to finish. Aligning what you believe with who you are and where you are headed creates something more valuable than gold: it creates Purpose.
Spring 2029
Cultural Alchemy: Volume V - Turning Analytics into gold.
Things change all the time. Not everything improves. Why put all that work into something if the end result doesn't improve the outcome? While we realize that what gets measured gets improved, the complexities of dynamic marketplaces can make it seem impossible to know what to measure and how often. In Volume V, we'll investigate the role of periodicity, cyclicity and scale in determining the best way to make meaningful measurements of our data that lead to improvements (not just change).
Summer 2030
Cultural Alchemy: Volume VI - Turning Innovation into gold.
Revolutionizing your company is one thing. Revolutionizing your industry is another. Many of your peers and competitors are facing the same industry challenges that you are. In this volume, we'll investigate the strategies needed to make your peers and your competitors your customers. This paradigm shift can take you from competitive advantage to first mover, creating disruption in your market segment, diversifying your holdings, and insulating you from industry downturns.
Fall 2031
