I am no guru. I have done well. I have done poorly. I've been right. I've been wrong. I really don't know if anyone is ever really qualified to write a book like this, save for this one fact:

I'm willing to be judged based on your successes and failures in business after you have read and applied it. 

I began writing the Cultural Alchemist Series because it is the business manual I wish I would have had when I started my career. Much of the wisdom contained within these pages is not my own. As Isaac Newton, the inspiration for this alchemy themed business guide once said, "if I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants". I simply cannot thank enough those who took an interest in my development or wrote their own books on the subject I now wish to cover myself. I owe you all a debt I now endeavor (and will likely still fail) to repay.

I cannot boast of any considerable accomplishments without also speaking of the numerous failures that have accompanied them. As was once written of me:
